Joy and Howard are New Zealanders who have lived and travelled both within New Zealand and overseas. They welcome guests with pre-dinner nibbles and New Zealand wine, and will assist with your travel and activity plans.

Joy is a registered nurse and has worked in many healthcare settings including midwifery and gerontology in both New Zealand and the United Kingdom. Howard is a semi retired dentist who has worked in many settings including military dentistry, public and private practice in New Zealand and in the United Kingdom from Harley Street to the East India Dock Road. He has been involved in post graduate education in Indonesia and forensic dentistry in New Zealand and more recently in Thailand after the tsunami. Both are graduates of the University of Otago and are members of the Museum Trust and can give advice on cultural activities. Howard can arrange golf at the local golf club. Joy is a Friend of the Botanic Gardens as well as Opera New Zealand.
