Driving Directions from the North
Approach Auckland on the State Highway 1 and take the exit 420 Esmonde Road off-ramp.
Continue to the end of Esmonde Road (approx 1 mile and you will see the sea) then turn right at the lights into Lake Road.
Continue until Lake Road ends at a roundabout at the foot of Mount Victoria where you turn right and then bear left around the mountain and down Victoria Road towards the sea.
When you meet the roundabout at the Wharf building by the sea you turn right into Queens Parade and take the second right to park in our red paved double driveway on the right side of Anne Street.
Driving Directions from the South
Take the centre lane and continue towards Whangarei on State Highway 1.
After crossing the Harbour Bridge, take the second to left lane and turn off at Exit 420 for Esmonde Road, Devonport and Takapuna.
Continue until Lake Road ends at a roundabout at the foot of Mount Victoria where you turn right and then bear left around the mountain and down Victoria Road towards the sea.
When you meet the roundabout at the Wharf building by the sea you turn right into Queens Parade and take the second right to park in our red paved double driveway on the right side of Anne Street.
Directions from Auckland Airport
If Driving:
From the international terminal, take Tom Pearce Drive and turn left at the lights into George Bolt Memorial Drive.
Continue on this route 20A to route 20.
After crossing Mangere Bridge take the turn off to Queenstown Road (after a footbridge) and take a right turn towards the city over the motorway.
Continue on to Pah Road through several sets of traffic lights onto Manukau Road.
Proceed straight on through more traffic lights until a sign directs you to the motorway north where you turn left at the lights into Alpers Avenue.
Take the middle lane and at the next set of lights turn right but stay in the left lane and you will join State Highway 1 heading north.

By Shuttle and Ferry:
Ask the shuttle driver to drop you near the Ferry to Devonport. (The fare is about NZ$40 for two people, available 24 hours).
The Ferry to Devonport costs $6.00 per adult one-way: $11.00 return: or $41.00 for a 10 trip ticket (which two people can use).
The ferry runs every 15 to 30 minutes at most times and takes under 10 minutes. Our home is just across the car park from the ferry.

By Airbus to Ferry:
The Airbus runs every 15 minutes during 24 hours and terminates just across the road from the ferry wharf.
The fare is about $16 per person. ($23.00 return) It runs a more circuitous route and takes about 45 –50 minutes. Visit the website for more information.
The ferry runs every 15 minutes during weekday morning rush-hour and every 30 minutes to at least 10pm. See the ferry timetable. There is no need to book – tickets can be purchased close to the person clicking tickets.

An airport to door service, which must be pre-booked with email. They require flight number and credit card details and you will be met within the airport building. The driver holds a card with your name on it as you emerge from the arrivals hall and then helps with your luggage. Cost: About NZ$75 for two people. We normally use this operator when we travel with luggage. The ride over the harbour bridge can be a great introduction to Auckland. The ride takes 30 to 60 minutes depending on traffic.
Taxis are also available at the airport and are about twice the cost of Shore Shuttles.
